In the morning:

Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. We will greet you at your hotel lobby or meeting point for a safety briefing before we begin our adventure.

Option 1: Hanoi Jeep Tour – Night train to Sapa
The first part of our Hanoi Jeep tour takes you to the Hanoi Opera House, the largest theater in Vietnam and a significant historical and architectural landmark. We will then explore the real Hanoi, experiencing everyday life in the backstreets, tiny alleyways, local homes, schools, random markets, and black markets.
On our journey, we will show you both the good and the quirky aspects of the city. While other travel companies might avoid the less attractive parts, we believe in presenting the full picture of your destination.
In the second part of the tour, we will pass by and stop at must-see places in Hanoi. We will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, drive through Thanh Nien Street between two beautiful lakes, and explore Banana Island, where you can visit farms, talk with locals, and enjoy organic tropical fruits. We will also visit peaceful villages around West Lake and Truc Bach Lake, and learn about the 1000-year-old Van Nien Pagoda.
As we travel, we will see Hoang Hoa Tham, the most beautiful bonsai street in Hanoi, and visit hidden parts of the city, including the B52 American aircraft shot down during the war. Our journey will provide a comprehensive view of Hanoi's past, present, and future.
We will stop at various authentic restaurants and food stalls to savor the best dishes of Hanoi, including family heirloom recipes and local specialties.
After lunch, our tour guide and driver will drop you off at your hotel.

Option 2: Hanoi city tour private tour – Night train to Sapa

In the morning:

08:30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City

08:45 – 09:45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Is Land in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

09:45 – 11:45: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique Padoga in the world. Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas… Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

11:45 – 12:45: Continue to visit the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.

In the afternoon:

12:45 – 13:45: Have lunch at our restaurant. After lunch tour guide and driver drop off at your hotel.

Noted: Complimentary late check-out will be granted to guests up to 6:00 pm to allow them time to prepare for their train departure.

21:00: Pick up and transfer to Hanoi Train Station for night train to Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa - Lao Chai Ta Van - Sapa

Day 4: Sapa - Fansipan - Sapa

Day 5: Sapa free and easy - Transfer to Hanoi

Unforgettable Experiences from Hanoi to Halong Bay

We had an unforgettable time on this 8-day tour. Traveling by night train to Sapa was an exciting experience, and the days in Sapa were filled with breathtaking landscapes, village walks, and the incredible Fansipan cable car. Hanoi was vibrant and welcoming, and the final overnight cruise in Halong Bay was absolutely stunning. Watching the sunset and sunrise over the bay was magical. The trip was well organized, with comfortable transport and friendly, knowledgeable guides throughout.

This tour offered a wonderful balance between city exploration and natural beauty. Hanoi was lively and interesting, and the jeep city tour gave us a unique perspective of the capital. Sapa impressed us with its cool weather, terraced rice fields, and authentic village life. The Fansipan trip was truly memorable. The overnight cruise in Halong Bay was peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views at sunrise. The itinerary was smooth, well paced, and ideal for travelers who want to see a lot without feeling rushed.

This 8 days 7 nights itinerary was very well designed. Each destination flowed naturally into the next. Hanoi offered history and culture, Sapa delivered amazing mountain views and authentic village experiences, and Halong Bay provided a relaxing and scenic cruise experience. The Fansipan excursion was a major highlight, offering incredible panoramic views. We appreciated the free time in Sapa as well as the smooth transfers back to Hanoi. A great choice for first-time visitors to Vietnam.
