Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

In the morning:

Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. We will greet you at your hotel lobby or meeting point for a safety briefing before we begin our adventure.

Option 1: Hanoi Jeep Tour – Night train to Sapa
The first part of our Hanoi Jeep tour takes you to the Hanoi Opera House, the largest theater in Vietnam and a significant historical and architectural landmark. We will then explore the real Hanoi, experiencing everyday life in the backstreets, tiny alleyways, local homes, schools, random markets, and black markets.
On our journey, we will show you both the good and the quirky aspects of the city. While other travel companies might avoid the less attractive parts, we believe in presenting the full picture of your destination.
In the second part of the tour, we will pass by and stop at must-see places in Hanoi. We will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, drive through Thanh Nien Street between two beautiful lakes, and explore Banana Island, where you can visit farms, talk with locals, and enjoy organic tropical fruits. We will also visit peaceful villages around West Lake and Truc Bach Lake, and learn about the 1000-year-old Van Nien Pagoda.
As we travel, we will see Hoang Hoa Tham, the most beautiful bonsai street in Hanoi, and visit hidden parts of the city, including the B52 American aircraft shot down during the war. Our journey will provide a comprehensive view of Hanoi's past, present, and future.
We will stop at various authentic restaurants and food stalls to savor the best dishes of Hanoi, including family heirloom recipes and local specialties.
After lunch, our tour guide and driver will drop you off at your hotel.

Option 2: Hanoi city tour private tour – Night train to Sapa

In the morning:

08:30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City

08:45 – 09:45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Is Land in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

09:45 – 11:45: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique Padoga in the world. Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas… Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

11:45 – 12:45: Continue to visit the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.

In the afternoon:

12:45 – 13:45: Have lunch at our restaurant. After lunch tour guide and driver drop off at your hotel.

Noted: Complimentary late check-out will be granted to guests up to 6:00 pm to allow them time to prepare for their train departure.

21:00: Pick up and transfer to Hanoi Train Station for night train to Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa - Lao Chai Ta Van - Sapa

Day 4: Sapa - Fansipan - Sapa

Day 5: Sapa free and easy - Transfer to Hanoi

Day 6: Hanoi - Halong Bay Overnight Cruise

Day 7: Halong Bay - Hanoi

Out of all the trips we did in Vietnam, this was the one I was looking forward to most, I'd always wanted to go to Halong Bay. (If you're looking for other tours, Ninh Binh is AMAZING, and also half day Hanoi sightseeing tour is really good). Anyway, can't fault the tour company. We were originally go on the over night cruise but due to the typhoon it was cancelled, we got arranged other trip to Quang Phu Cau Village. All the staffs tried their best to provide the best service inspite of the typhoon. I am looking forward to come to Vietnam next time for Halong Bay cruise and we definitely choose Dreamtravel.

We have a sensational trip to the North of Vietnam in spite of the unexpected weather at that season. We tried a wide variety of local food and we were really into Vietnamese cuisine. You should try Bun Bo Hue or Beef Pho. Everything was perfect down to the last detail. Shout out to the effort from the team. Totally recommended!
