Intro: Located about 3km from Hoi An Old Quarter, Bay Mau Coconut forest has been blessed by Nature, with abundant vegetation, and mangrove system, and a variety of plants and animals that make up a favorite tourist destination. Coming here, you will not only find yourself “lost” in the land of The South West area of Vietnam, with the magnificent water coconut forest but also learn more about the heroic history of our country.
15h00: We pick you up at the rendezvous (inner Danang city), departure for Cam Thanh, Hoian. On the way, we’ll visit Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, Where is the famous traditional village of Danang city for fine art stone engraving products for more than 200 years.
16h00: From Cua Dai port, we go by basket boat along Thu Bon River to discover the coconut forest, which is considered “Southeast inside the ancient town”.
You will go visit the eco-system of the forest by basket boats, catching crabs, and snails and making toys from coconut leaves. Especially, you can also join the basket boat race, which will bring you a lot of wonderful experiences.
Then, you will participate in some activities on the river such as fishing, rafting, and folk games: tug, breaking the pots, and aerial dance.
16h30: Head to Hoian ancient town, visiting Fukian Assembly Hall, Japanese Covered Bridge, Old House…Also, you’ll have free time for shopping at Nguyen Hoang night market and enjoy the beautiful light from thousands of lanterns.
At dinner, you enjoy a delicious meal at a restaurant: cao lau HoiAn, chicken rice, rose cake…
20h15 – 20h30: End of the tour program, return Danang.
21h00: Drop you off at your hotel, goodbye and hope to see you again.
